Ive started looking for a gun safe and quickly realized there are a ton of options. I don't know what's important and what's not. I'd like something that has room for 10ish long guns, 10ish hand guns, important documents, cash and misc. I've looked at $300 safes and $1000 ones. They all look the same. Thoughts ?

1) NOT Liberty safes and their policy of easily caving to opening for law enforcement.

2) longer the fire rating time period, the better.

3) buy WAY bigger than you think you need at the moment.

4) you missed all the good deals already. Cause really, black friday really is the best day to buy one. I mean, Academy had a 45 min fire rated 80 gun safe for like $800 yesterday.

When I go to someone’s house and see a gun safe, I KNOW it’s got firearms, probably some jewelry and other valuables.

When I see an older coke or Pepsi machine in someone’s house or garage, I think hey, I’m thirsty
?????
*note to ones self; get 'GO' to garage but 'NO GO' in house ........

Buy an old broken gun safe from a scrap metal yard, bring it home, fill it with concrete or stacked bricks, weld the door shut , paint it, and put it in your house over a reinforced section of the floor.

This will keep the thieves busy and
away from the guns under your bed.
