Looking for a place to shoot near Lawrenceville .

Hey Fellas,

I am looking for a safe place for me and a few of my cousins to go out in the woods and shoot. I'd like somewhere I can really light off some rounds and it isn't gonna bother anyone. Anyone know of a few good spots?

I am willing to do a little driving if I have to. I live in Lawrenceville so anything within about an hour or so would be great.

Not sure if hunting season matters for caliber, but I have pretty much every hunting/WMA/license except Gator...

I don't think you can shoot on WMA land besides the designated ranges. So besides those and gun ranges, you would need to find some private land.

Still looking for a spot to shoot, or at least what the rules are for going out to State land and lighting off some rounds. Appreciate any help!

Good luck finding a place. I drive all the way to a friends property in Zebulon to shoot outdoors but only me and a few others are allowed to go there. Unless you can find some private property I think Charlie Elliott WMA may be your only option.

You can hunt, but from what I hear you can't go target shooting.
