I am thinking that I will be in the market in the next 3-6 mos for a 50-55 HP tractor
4WD
Front bucket
Maybe cab

What else should I look for?

Thinking if new go through a dealer , 0 % financing

Used - cash

Experience? Opinions?

Deals?

I'm in the same boat an trying to decide between Kubota, Mahindra & Branson. John Deere would be my usual go to but after looking at the amount of plastic on the new ones I think I may pass.

Also the older pre emissions ones may be the way to go if you can find a used low hour unit.

Have a 23hp Mahindra and have enjoyed it very much. No issues strong and good 4wd. Got it from G and M enterprise in Barnesville, great experience and good people to deal with, many options for financing for new and have good inventory!

Dealer support is important , warranty but nothing beats someone who has experience with a product.

I can go a little larger don’t want to go any smaller.

Wife said just wait until you retire to get a tractor. I dont plan on retiring for ten more years, maybe she knows something that I dont...

A buddy of mine did research for over a year before buying a Mahindra. When I started looking, he talked me into Mahindra. I am not disappointed at all. Before deciding, read up on particulate filters on tractors. Let it be known that I am not very knowledgeable on the subject, but from what I understand; tractors w a DPF must burn off the soot ever so often. During this period of time, the tractor is inoperable. Some brands can be put off to a better time, but some shut down right where you sit. The Mahindra does not use a DPF, so there is no burn off period, from what little I understand. Maybe someone can verify or clear this up? @bigB0$$
