My wife is 5'3" and weighs in at 106. yet she carries a lite weight judge every day she is looking for something a little smaller but not loosing the knock down power; I have looked at the Kel Tec 9s and thought about them. By the way she has no worries shooting either. we go to the range she shoots my 44mag and anything else I bring. But I looking for something to blend in with her frame. Suggestions????

Take a look at the revolvers in .327 Fed. Mag. My wife has a 2" SP101 in 327 and loves it. Also a Seecamp or a North American Arms Guardian are great choices for purse carry. And the little NAA comes in a chambering called .25 NAA which is a WICKED little round

The most popular gun w/ the dozens of ladies who have came through our classes are the Ruger LCR & the S&W "J" frame series.
The triggers on the LCR's are smoother which has made them slightly more popular.
Apex tactical has a spring kit that is inexpensive & easy to install which greatly improves the trigger of the Smith.

Pistols do not really have "knockdown" power but rather have wounding potential.
A .38+p w/ a well designed hollowpoint is a good compromise for many people.
Generally bullet placement & bullet design is more important than bullet size.

Taurus has done a great marketing job w/ their "Judge" series but people seem to forget that the .410 was designed for hunting rabbits & squirrels.
Know anyone who would recommend hunting deer with a .410?

Granted you wouldn't hunt one w/ a .38 either but when you are considering a defensive pistol the choice is always a compromise.
For those who choose the .410 revolver there are at least some well designed shotshell options that optimize the platform.

However it is not "the magic gun".
While the shot spread does enhance its wounding potential some, whether it be a .22, a .38, a .410, or a .45, none of them have the elusive "knockdown" power we wish they did.

My wife is the same size and height and she carries the Kel-Tec PF9. Great pistol never jammed and I can't say enough good things about it. Great price as well. We reload our on shells and I've still never had a jam. My dads Smith Wesson(no the Sigma Series) has jammed the reload shells several times.

+1
A taurus m327 makes a great carry

I am actually looking at one of those new Ruger LCR Revolvers chambered in 357 for my wife to use. She has problems racking slides on semi's.
