Mine's not sandy, but I can agree with the weight being heavy, I think somewhere in the 7lb range. Glad to hear the new trigger is much better. I'd be interested to see what that 5r rifling and FF barrel can do, you should post a review thread on here if you do any bench shooting.

I will, I have to get some different weight ammo and brands and see what it will do with that rifling
