Looking to purchase a new AR any suggestions?

In that price range, get yourself a piston AR. Look at the BRN-180 from Brownells. I have all but stopped shooting my other ARs. You can buy a stripped lower and build it out or buy a complete set up from them.

Why did they put a clothes hanger on the back of that thing? Odd!

Shooting iron sights is fun, I think, and might save you a few bucks to stick with those initially.
I think everyone should start out shooting first with irons. Get proficient with those first then get an optic. If your optic fails you will still be in the fight. People to often go right to the optic and forgo the irons. That can come back to bite you in the rear.

Agree. Colt AR-15A4 20" with iron sights at 25 yards. And I'm really not good at all. Three left and right were dialing in windage.

You’ll take between $700-$900 for it?
