For sure Texas is booming also. Had a couple relatives move out there for work.

Go for it. If you dont you will always wonder what you could of made of it. I hit the road and chased the big money for a few years as a younger man. Its good experiance and when you do settle down it will be out of your system. Or you may love it and stay in the lifestyle. Many do. Its rough on a relationship/marriage though gotta say.

If housing is an issue.... sell your car for a van.... check the place out first before you commit to a rental/purchase.... My cousin works over there from time to time as an electrician.... same reason... good pay and plenty of work....
