Looks like afternoon rain, I hope it miss's all together. I won't bow hunt in the rain but I'll dang sure rifle hunt in it.

I don't prefer the rain but I still like being in a tree when it's raining.
As long as I've got rain gear and there's no lightning I love the experience.

Hunting in the rain, you can smell the different smells in the woods, hear the pitter patter of the rain against the leaves, the cleaning of the leaves, watching the grass bend, the gentle push of the breeze against the tree branches, and hearing sticks snap as the woods come alive, with predators, turkey, fox, skunks, and noisy clumpsy lost hunters walking in circles because they left their compass at home...

Had a big buck sneek across my shooting lane on me once during a downpour.

Im torn between bow hunting or going dove hunting again. Doves seem to b small this year.
Going to be a glorious weekend, esp Sunday. Rain drowns out the ringing in my ears too.
Mya and I will likely sit in our ground blind if it is a steady drizzle or lighter. If it's pouring we will just wait til Sunday.
Depends on how hard its raining and if there's any lightning involved. If I see lightning or hear thunder, I'm not going hunting.
