Lost My Mother today!

I was just notified that my Mother of 84 years passed in her sleep. She was not only my Mother but my Best friend. She was one of the toughest women I knew next to my Grandmother. My mother raised 5 Boys in Brooklyn New York. (3)- Retired Marines and (1)- Air Force service men. My other brother went the way of the Gun and Gang-banging and is still incarcerated. I will miss her but she is no longer in pain, Mom, I will always Remember you and remember your Words of encouragement, " If you join the Military you better NOT TO go AWOL" i will turn you in

myself to the military! MY Mother was raised in a different ERA, in the mountains of Puerto Rico!

Condolences.. She did a great job... I grew up outside of Syracuse...
You guys lived in a tough place. Unfortunately, we all become part of that club.. it will be 4 years at Christmas for my Mom, she would have been 86 on May 12th..
