i have it. first time, started back at the end of november and has been pretty much constant since then

i rate it as a low dull setting pain, maybe 2/10, so its not too bad, but it seems to be getting worse. i thought maybe the bed was the cause so i got a memory foam mattress topper. that didnt help, seemed to get worse. i tried stretching in both morning and afternoons, nope.

i went to a chiro on monday, he adjusted my back and told me to ice it and walk at least 20 minutes a day. still a no go. im going back tomorrow to see him for a follow up

sitting is the biggest pain for me. if i stand its not too bad and if i lay on my back on the ground and elevate my knees its pretty much gone.

so, im only 27 and this is bull****. im about to go to an ortho next week if this isnt fixed. anyone got any tips besides stretching, ice, or what not? i ordered a firm mattress topper that will hopefully fix it. im already wearing dr. scholls inserts as well

i am just super mad more than anything and frustrated with this crap

I'm 52, and have your same problem. Went, to the hospital and the doctor have me a group of exercises to do, it helps, I bought a semi-foam bed and that really helped me, just did xrays my problems came from humping a ruck in the military, so I do have a small Spine degeneration, but I hate to say this but the doctor gave me Muscle Spasm pill, that when I take it works for 3-4 days.

so it went away for a while. came back 2 weeks ago

is definitely not as bad as it was, but it is focused on my left side now.

no idea what it is from, but im starting to think.....maybe a kidney stone?

at this point i would just want to know what it is. the plumbing works fine and nothing out of the ordinary except the dull pain

Get your blood checked for Rheumatoid Arthritis, specifically Ankylosing Spondylitis. I was diagnosed when I was 19. Couldn't even walk with out crutches the pain was so bad. I am on biologics now and am absolutely pain free. Also weight lifting helps arthritis. I don't know the science behind it but it does based on experience.

Because it "went away" for some time make me lean even more towards an auto immune disease. RA can go into remission and you will be totally symptom free. Then it will come back and hurt like hell (a flare up). Trust me, go to an Rhumatologist and at least let them run the tests. It took 2 orthopedics, 4 physical therapist and a generalist to finally find out what was wrong with me. That was months and months of agonizing pain.

I doubt it's a kidney stone. I've had 2 and they hurt like hell until they come out.
