did S&W ever post a recall on their 15-22 rifle with the fire OOB and run away issues? I can't find anything on the web and wanted to see if there were certain S/Ns affected.

That's what I was looking at. There is nothing said about the 15-22.
Anybody have these issue with theirs?
No issues except that I spent a ton modifying it for Appleseed and have yet to be able to use it.

I had a out of chamber fire. Took it to local gunsmith. He said a piece of trash didn't let the bolt close all way. A lil scarry. Hasn't happened since. Will make sure it is cleaned thoroughly after every range trip
