I made some funnel shaped “baskets” over my magnets that all but prevent them from getting hung up on who knows what under the surface… worked out quite well. Here’s my bucket and internals…

Got me a magnet outta the back of 40 inch woofer, tied string to it.. so far I’ve found 12 Glock 19’s( not worth anything) .. found 6 lbs of gold nuggets in la lock safe.. and 3 hi point 9!throw aways( priceless) only been fishing 5 times
