Mags: loaded or unloaded

I know i have read a thread on here about this but how do you store your extra mags? how about your carry mags?

Do you keep them loaded?

I rotate them. you?

can you help me find that thread?

I keep a number loaded and rotate them on a monthly to bi monthly basis depending on the mags and what they are being used for.

Loaded. It won't put any excessive wear on your springs, it's loading and unloading them that causes the springs to weaken over time.

I've had a loaded glock mag in my car for almost a year, under a pile of gas receipts. I think it's getting time to test it out

Shotgun and a couple glock mags i have loaded, but none of the rest
