he shoulda just dug a hole quietly....or fed him to the Dingos.
Sounds a bit strange to me, my guess is the cops over reacted and he will get his guns back as soon as this gets to court. Never the less the cops do have the right to take your guns in Oz if they believe you have committed an offence or are likely to commit an offence. And yes I still have my guns.

The liberals keep hoping for an incident here that they can use to take away our right to protect ourselves. They tried with sandy hook and couldn't develop the necessary public outrage. The backblast was an increase in gun purchases

If it's like Canada they will get the knife wielding intruder to testify against the homeowner and try and prosecute him for violating safe storage laws...
