There's a difference between having it and carrying it into a family environment, with the given shootings lately this does not help our cause, people don't want to see this. There is nothing to use against us. He walked in and didn't go on a shooting spree and didn't get arrested. While I would not recommend doing it, I will say he has some balls to do it. He did nothing illegal and people need to realize this.

I do too but not an ar15, he's either trying to make a statement or just stupid. Either way I wouldn't want be in the store. We have way too many back yard commandos that would also have me worried about some jack ass drawing on him to "stop the situation" and then you have a dumbass standoff while you're trying to pick out a steak

So you would suggest that everyone that open-carries is an asshat? The fact is that he didn't break the law and they do not have an anti-gun policy that would prohibit this .... so yes his second amendment protest was a bit loud ...... but was it really wrong? Only through exposure to these firearms at the hands of law abiding citizens that aren't using them for harm
will the regular people stop being scared of them and stop demonizing them.

I agree Civil Rights movements shouldn't be censored, Women burnt their bra's for their rights, we should show that we can be who we are in public too.
