Marlin SBL 45-70

Thanks for the write up on the Marlin 45/70. I have been diligently looking for a JM stamped model 45/70 for a while, but I want the straight stock model.

SAR 6114, in this case the SBL is part of the model name. I believe this is what the SBL means.
SBL is Stainless Big Loop....................BL is Big Loop (blue)............GBL is Guide Big Loop...

Interesting. I did not know that. I was blown away by this rifle. Hell, I still am.

I had a buddy score big at forsyth pawn and scoop this same gun up for $675!!! I was jealous to say the least. I have been looking ever since then
