That is the sign for an Aussie Marsupial Hopping Stegosaurus crossing. You don't have to worry about hitting them as much as you do them hitting you.

Damn, a KangaRex crossing.
Mike Rowe went down there once & helped a fellow pull a Brown Snake out of a lady’s kitchen.
That very night,
I struck Australia off the “ I want to go there” list.
Brown Snakes On That List & as Common as a Hollywierd Sexual Allegation Scandal.
I actually used to have several pythons as household pets. Many were at least that long but a good bit fatter....for many years, at any given time, I had Burmese , Reticulated, Carpet and Scrub pythons. I only ever had one African Rock python...nasty disposition...won't do that again. I only have one snake now. He's a python..but tiny in comparison...just a little 6 foor green tree python now named, Tiki. He's a total A-hole...but he's my A-hole.
It's a Scrub Python, Dr Ross..also called Amethystine python (Morelia amethistina),
