I have been trying to get people to stock up on everything they use on a regular basis and some things they don't use much like guns and ammo.
I told my sister who lives here in GA to stock up years ago. She told me she was not worried about it and if something happens, she and her husband would move in with me. I pissed her off but I got that crap stopped just as soon as she said it.
They would rather spend their money being entertained I guess.

Seriously though. What's so freaking hard about putting up a few cases of water, containers, filtration system, some emergency rations, first aid stuff and some ammo? I just don't understand it. I saw how people could turn into animals during the aftermath of Hugo in SC. I've been "ready" since 1989. Thankfully haven't had to use any of it, just rotate and restock.
