MF 3.0 diesel 2020 k1500 check engine light!

I was so impressed the First 15000 miles!
30+ MPG THEN CK ENG LITE CAME on!
And all down hill from there!
New transmission at 28.000
And MPG BEEN AROUND 20 for 10,000 miles!
Also this truck loves OIL!
1 qt. Every thousand miles!
Called five dealerships nobody has an appointment for at least three weeks and no one has a loaner vehicle.
So I am taken it up the ass again!
I will not say it but Mabey F—- was a better choice!

What type of oil are you using? I dont think thats the issue just know it takes a very specific blend. Im following because I have a couple of friends who drive these trucks.

I've been told the new engines use oil due to rings they use now. The few new ones I've been around last few years, Dodge, did use oil regularly. My new 434 engine does too. But it's a high performance engine and the oil consumption has been tapering off slowly. Don't remember exact miles, but several thousand
