I am not familiar with Krate Tactical but they must have pulled a PSA to Glock on the rights to the MT UT since they obviously couldn’t come up with their own design or any other OTF options…

For the money I’m sure they’re using foreign sourced parts (not uncommon in any industry), but they could certainly been assembling in Georgia.

What material is inferior? D2 steel on the blade isn’t quite as nice as some of the microtech selections, mainly in corrosion resistance, but I’ve had zero issues with this and it holds a great edge.

As an owner of multiple microtech and one Krate I’ve carried daily.., the Microtech is not a better knife. In fact the Krate seems to be holding up better.

I will. I just knew that ODT hivemind would know. Couldn't have predicted the off-brand fanboi to start an argument, though. Never even heard of Krate until this thread.

Honestly before you ship it in, spray it with rem oil, then blow out excess with compressed air. That should fix it.
