Microtech Customer Service/Warranty question

Every Microtech I’ve had got sold for this reason. Sexy, yes! Daily cary knife, NOPE! Microtechs can handle carry from “suits” but put them in a working man’s pocket for prolonged periods and the action suffers. Regular PM’s are a must if this is the case. Ultrasonic cleaner or soak in mineral spirits for a couple hours then compressed air finish will cure it.

The cheap Chinese bit works just fine. This from someone that has managed to break every Microtech that I've owned. They are definitely NOT hard use blades... more like fidget spinners for adults. BTW, I've got a CT in my pocket as I type this...LOL!

I have a new to me OTF from the company above.Over the past few months, it has been more and more sluggish in opening so far as that I have to pull it out to get it to snick into place. I am not the original owner but I do have all the paperwork and the box. Any ideas if they will fix it? I have to imagine some spring or something has gotten weak and I am not about to pull this thing apart and tinker with it.
Add a single drop of Rem Oil to each side of the opening. That usually works for me when they get sluggish. Be careful not to add too much oil, because that will make it worse. If that doesn't fix it, send it in for warranty service. I have never had a bad experience with their warranty service.

I disagree at least with a ludt. I am a working man and have destroyed my ludt at work. It keeps going and still flys out fine. Even been through the washer and dryer a few times, broke the tip of the blade twice and took chunks out of the blade, I’ll send it back one day just to see what they say
