No, t-5's can't handle a .351 Windsor and the Tremec 3550 parts are harder and harder to find. Once you have a 351/393 or 408 in a 67, a tremec and a 31 spline 8.8... That fox will always be butt dyno slow comparatively. They hook better, ride better and cost less but... The pucker factor on a 67 is way more fun.

Well I do ls swaps for a living so if I build a square body it will have an ls in it. I did an 85 Silverado for a guy this year with a lq4 6.0 and 4l80e transmission all stock. I like how it turned out.
