Well honestly, Im ****ing around. This thread is ridiculous.

The truth is IF any of this was made into law, us members of the military wouldn't have many options. Do you honestly think its going to come to gun confiscation? I don't. They will put a bunch of dumb laws in to place and try to fizzle out guns, but they wont confiscate. That would be asking for some **** they couldn't handle.

I STAND WITH YOU ALL!!! Why do think I come to this site! I will take my uniform off before I take guns from my fellow Americans!

I also do think most Americans would turn in their guns if they were to ask for them. I see a lot of BS talk on this site that just makes me laugh! I do believe if majority stands, we will win, but it would have to be majority!!! If most give up their guns, its a lost cause! You can fight, but you would die. I, for one, would fight. I have fought for everything else in foreign countries, what makes this any different?

The way you made it sound, you were playing for the other team.
You've got to remember, you're not dealing with the people who ran out and bought a gun last week here. Most of us are lifelong shooters, and cherish our rights. It's offensive for us to hear that any soldier would comply with an unconstitutional order, much less imply that they are somehow superior to other citizens. Several people will fight.
That being said, I don't think It will come to confiscation. The only reason I even posted on the thread is because I percieved a holier than thou attitude about the issue. If that wasn't your intent, then so be it. If you honestly believe it, then we'll see. I can promise you this. If it ever (again, not likely at all) comes down to it, Iraq and Afghanistan will look like a playground.......

I don't know about the rest of you military guys but I know the one thing that scares me on a battle field is a sniper. America may not be full of real AK 47s like the rest of the world but it is full of well made bolt action rifles in the hands of people that love to shoot and are capable of printing groups out to a 1000 yards. The tactics we employed in Iraq and Afghanistan would not be effective against an army of snipers. Sticking your head out of a turret or simply walking down the street would be suicide.
