Military M9 at CMP

I was an armorer in the Marines. The M9 we had were bad. Road hard and put up wet. The sand jacked them all up. Finish for most of them were under 80%. Barrel where done. You dont want a M9 surplus.

I am sure there are warehouses full of never issued M9's and spare parts. There were large orders placed for the M9 not that long ago as I recall. Even the worn M9's could be refurbished. Rebuilding guns is what the CMP does. The Beretta M9 would be great for rebuilds as most parts drop in and do not require fitting. I think the biggest challenge would be refinishing the aluminum frames. The M9 is reliable, very accurate and because of it's size and weight it is a very pleasant pistol to shoot. I think it would be an excellent choice for a pistol to use for a marksmanship program.

Why buy a ragged-out M9 that some Private cleaned with steel wool when you can have THIS!?

LOL
