I did do that, Made an AIMR-ish clone using a side folding Romanian stock. I added a forward grip, it works great but got an itch for an AKS74U type and I don't want to pay over $2000 for an Arsenal gun. As others say the Romanians can make a great gun, why not a 74 Krink -like copy for around $1k
