Mirrored bore doo-hickey- periscope like inspection gadget?

I was at a member's house doing a trade and he pulled out a 90 degree angled periscope looking device that you put into the open chamber of a rifle to inspect the bore, when the barrel tip is facing up at the light. I believe he said it was a military quick inspection scope of some sort.

Are these commercially available, or anything similar? I don't want to use the borescopes you connect to a cell phone camera.

I just use one of those flexible head led flashlights.

Swiss military cleaning kits come with a bore mirror.

The U shaped plastic rods work to light the bore as well.

This stuff was easy to find when gunshows were in full swing.

Well, I went onto thecmp.org site to buy one for $16, and they wouldn't sell to me because I am not a member of their organization, former military, or LEO. I called their office in OH, and they confirmed I cannot buy.
