mossberg 835 ultimag question

I recently purchased an 835 from a fellow ODT trader, it has the Turkey barrel with the fiber optic sights. I was cleaning it and noticed that the rear sight will swivel back and forth on the vent rib, is that common for this sight setup to do this or is it missing a screw????

Do you mean fold down? Some do that so you get better clearance for a scope. PICS?

Swivel? It's suppose to fold down and manually snap up into position. It should not swivel loosely back and forth. I have the same sight on my Mossberg 500 if it's this one below.

Yes, it will swivel to three positions middle, left, and right notches are there to help get it on target if adjustments are needed, also has a little set screw to raise the sight.
When I patterned mine with the rear sight it would shoot high, I removed it (it's just clamped on the rib) and just use the front bead, dead on now, and it can be put back on if I ever sell it.

My sight is just like the one on Sig Guy's gun. It is not a flip up. Thanks, Sig Guy for your response.
