Decent movie , got 51% on rotton tomatoes...
I give it a "C" rating. Yeah, it had some good action scenes, but the development of Ben Affleck's character was not well done. How did he get to be both brilliant and a mental case? Oh, he was born that way.
How did he get to be a super-killer?
Way too late in the movie we see flashbacks to his Army father making him take martial arts classes.
(Where he learned to shoot like John Wayne, or John Wick, I still don't know).
Anna Kendrick is a favorite actress of mine, but she was wasted in this role. She was just a damsel in distress, with only a few lines and no real "role" in the movie other than to show that the killing machine had feelings, too.
That role could have and should have gone to a lesser-known actress, to help build her career.
Anna's career is going to take a hit from her appearance in this movie.
