The less anyone knows the better. Is it all in ammo cans? Could have just told them is was a lot of tools you store in a lot of ammo cans. Nothing wrong with white lies.

The majority of moving companies will have no trouble moving your handguns, rifles, or other legal firearms. The ammunition, however, they cannot and will not. This is primarily because ammo falls under the “volatile” category. Movers won't move gasoline, kerosene, paints, and other volatile materials, either.

seriously though, I would probably try and find a way to DIY. maybe an ODTer on both sides could help you with loading the truck on each end of it.

Could always put it in wooden crates labeled tools. What they don't know won't inconvenience you. I don't like anyone touching my sensitive items. I move all that kinda stuff on my own.

Assuming he has a good reason he can’t be there to do it himself... Perhaps a local business like a maid service or estate sale broker would pack it up and call UPS for you.

By the time you find a professional mover to move it everyone and their dog will know you have a metric crap load of ammunition. They will also assume you have a lot of guns. Not the sort of advertising I would want moving to a new home.
Rent a truck for a couple of days and get some help from family or trusted friends.
