I've got a little buddy heater is just broke out from last year. Is seems to be working good but the pilot light flame seems to be larger than I remember. Is this normal or is something wrong with this thing? See pic
No, the heater goes off. I remember the pilot light stays on from using it last year but it wasn't this big. I'm guessing it is no big deal but trying to not die or catch on fire.
There's some kind of tiny air intake for the pilot assembly. Bigger, yellow flame would typically mean the pilot gas isn't getting enough oxygen. Spider web, dust, insect nests are the usual suspects. Clean it, all good.
