My chicken got murdered... where can i get a couple hens?

Looks like an ISA Brown, which is a cousin of the Rhode Island Red.

It happened around dusk, still not sure what the culprit was- neighbor's cat maybe? Opossum? Haven't seen any raccoons but maybe?

Where do i go to get a few hens? What breed are these? I raised them from day old chicks, and have gone from 4 to 2 over the first 6 months. I want to add 3 to the flock and I'm told by a very smart gentleman on odt that they can be clickish, so hopefully we can get some replacements that fit in. I prefer not to start over with chicks at this point in time!

Sir, sorry for the loss of your chickens. Some of them become pets. Especially the ones raised on the property. Good luck finding replacements. God bless.

If look a Georgia farmers bulletin always poultry for sale if area has radio station like Swap/shop see chickens for sale their also.

You can listen to TRADELINE on the internet.. it’s a station out of west ga area.. they have a pet line that starts right before tradeline..I’d say start listening about 9:45.. as tradeline starts at 10.. folks giving , selling animals away
