I know it is not near the same, right now it really beats pro basketball for me !
We are about to leave for Ft. Lauderdale for kids winter break and I was thinking about dropping in Saturday for a race on the way home. Cheap seat Tickets $115 per?? It would be a $500.00 + day for the 3 of us.
Thats another reason to loose interest!

I stopped following when they established speed limits on pit road. That said I usually try to tune in to the last few laps of the races in case something exciting happens.....today, it did. Great ending on this one!
The only exciting lap to that snooze fest was the last lap. NASCAR has killed itself. I can remember when Daytona and Dega were so exciting to watch. Multiple lead changes and bump drafting caused all the packs of cars to go back and forth for the lead. Now its just freaking pathetic. Hardly any passing for the lead. These templates they call race cars just plain suck.
That was one hell of a finish!
