Need advice on where to stay in Myrtle Beach.

watch out for slow drivers on the way. they want to drive 45 and hog the road. we have gone a couple of times in the spring and the pollen season is a little earlier than here and just as bad if not worse.
Broadway at the beach is nice but a little pricey. Murrells Inlet like all has said have nice sea food restaurants and the area is cozy.
there also a casino boat north of the beach that leaves out of the river called the Big M if you like to gamble. last time we went I left seven hundred fifty buck's ahead. but the cops are in the parking lot when you leave I'm assuming looking for DUI suspect's. there's also a boat tour that travels up the river and tells the history of the area that's pretty nice and educational. there's plenty of stuff to keep you entertained. for me it's kinda like Panama City Beach but not as crowded.
have fun and enjoy life when you can.

I had to take a week long class for work at a place called marina in at grand dunes. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. It's a little off the beach but they have a shuttle running to the beach every half hour or so, plus its only like 2 blocks if u wanna drive. Real shnazzy.

Was it a motor vibration class that is where my class is but my work said it was to pricey.

I am being sent to Myrtle beach for some training classes and in need of suggestions on places to stay. I am taken my wife and two boys so the place needs to family friendly and reasonably priced. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was a youth pastor in North Myrtle Beach... Cherry Grove area is very quiet and family friendly. We lived off 20th Ave N 3 blocks from the beach. I miss it at times, but always felt home back in GA :) Where are the classes you're taking?
