Need brush hog (rotary mower) recommendation

I bought a Howse in about 94. Being a beginner to tractors and rotary cutters I really abused it. Lasted about 10 years maybe. Bought a new tractor and bought a Bush Hog brand a few years ago. I know a lot more now and don’t abuse it or the tractor. The Howse was ok I just tried to cut a lot of stuff I had no business doing. Also learned just because you have a heavy box blade a tractor is not a bulldozer. Lol
Sage advice we’d all do well to listen to!

Whatever you get, get the PTO shaft with the clutch on the PTO end. It is much easier to mount and remove as it releases easier than the push button release models so the strength of both hands can be used pilling it off.

We just got one of those after years of dealing with the push pin. Have to agree that it is much easier.
