Need help spotting a fake Marine.

I'm married so no. But if I wernt I would hope to be first in line to break her unlucky streak of losers. She is a great and beautiful person that deserves so much more than the scum bags that seem to find her.
Be careful man. I won't say anything else except be VERY careful. Dangerous ground to be sure.

ask him in casual conversation what the dope should be at 500 yards with a 308 firing 168grn match and no wind. If he cant spit out 49 to 51 clicks off of a 100 yard zero then he's full of ****.

That's the type of informed question that I have been wanting to throw at him but I lacked the knowledge. Thank you.

Isn't that going to depend on the scope? Surely a 1/2 MOA and a 1/4 MOA and a 1/10 MOA adjustment per click scope isn't going to be the same number of clicks off a 100 yard zero...

Tell her to get out NOW, not next week and not next month but NOW. She has no business staying in the same house/apartment/trailor another night.

He could be a Marine and not be a super sniper.

I met a guy who was on VA disability. I have no doubt he served but he felt the need to embellish. He said he was a 88M assigned to "Delta Force" as a "sniper". (Army guys will know why this is funny)

If every story you ever heard about the military was true, we would have had no cooks, admin, or quartermasters.
LOL, you never told me that one.

Thats what makes me such a bad-ass...

I was the only friggin wrench turning a wrench, single-handedly keeping the entirety of the Engineer Corps running while everyone else was being specialforcesarmyrangerpathfinderdeltaforcesniperforcereconHALOSEALS.

Ask him what his "mos" was... If he gives anything other than a four digit number starting with "03" than he lying. if you'll look around his neck you will see the Vietnam Era flack jacket. Those are given to troops in training. Troops deployed would have had their own modern gear which they would have brought with them. Just seems odd. Also can't tell but that looks like webgear, also issued on a tempory basis to troops in training. Fleet Marines of this time frame were issued MOLLE gear. And is that an Alice pack? sleeping bags on MOLLE gear are contained in a pouch on the bottom of the pack. All these things lead me to believe this pic was taken while he was training, and I'm not aware of any training a young infantry Marine would be getting in Germany, and all snipers go through infantry training. Just for starters. Based on this I call bull****.
