is it not possible to request the info from the atf via the serial number? and have next of kin file the amnesty papers and transfer to you(thinking that amnesty means free registration). there has got to be cases where people have lost their tax stamps in a fire/flood/gorilla raping. or just be completely honest and ask the atf, since this thing was found if it is possible for you to file the paperwork, pay the stamp and wait, they could even hold it for you. while processing. just seems to me that there is got to be a way to get her back up and going, if she was once registered. all else fails plug weld both holes and use it for decoration

those things have scanners in them now. Get to close and it reads your credit card info and instantly logs your location, number dialed and records the conversation.
