Need Phone advice

Hi Everyone,

I'm not one to spend a lot of money on an iphone, etc. I had an LG and a Blu phone that I dropped and cracked. They had covers but I don't think you can get one as nice as an outerbox for them since there is a smaller buyer's market. I have decided to buy my next phone based on the type of case that I can buy to protect it. Do you know if there are outer-box type cases for cheaper phones? I guess I may have to buy an iphone if I can't get anything rugged enough to protect the phones I am currently buying.

What are you considering a cheaper phone? I use StraightTalk (with AT&T sim) so I have bought all of my used AT&T phones off Ebay. Typically about a year or two behind what's currently out there as "new". Currently using a Moto X (about $70ish currently) with an Otterbox and my wife uses a Galaxy S5 Active (roughly $180ish) with an Otterbox.

Just get the iPhone and otter box. The reliability and ease of use are worth it.

I was i the same boat as you. Trident cases are just like the otterbox case i had before which was the commuter series I believe. So far I've dropped my new phone twice on the corner and so far so good

I got some kind of tempered glass that will break instead of the phone. It keeps it light plus I always take good care of my phones so really not a problem
