Would likely guess misaligned gas block.
Need some help with my 300BO build

1. Check gas block alignment as Wallace’s said.
2. Run wet
3. Check for gas leak at BCG and proper staking

Had the same issue with mine after a recent 300blackout build. After removing the gas block, I could see the witness mark from the gas on the barrel. Didn’t take any pictures, but was about 25% covered. Realigned the gas block and she cycles like a champ now. Just my $0.02, but I would start there. Good luck.

When all else fails get dedicated.300 bo mags with larger opening and stronger spring.
I got some different.300bo mags. Will provide test results when I get a chance to shoot.
As said above check the gas block alignment first. Was that DD barrel dimpled? If not bring it by the shop next time you're passing through Thomaston.
It was not. Might take you upon that. Bought to pull the handguard now and see if I can visually align it better.
