Oh hell yea! Man, I wish you luck, thats just one Helluva a haul!yup!
I did that for awhile too! LOLCan't imagine anyone doing it for less than $1,500 but somebody here made several posts about hiring himself out to pull campers, trailers, etc....
Why can't I remember who?
Found it.I did that for awhile too! LOL
Found it.
OP, PM 'linebacker'. For some reason the @ function doesn't work to flag him.
Dang, good find!yup!
SHHH !!!! be quiet !!! they'll hear you!!!FYI, If you pay someone to go get it for you they will have to be DOT compliant. If you haul it yourself you can claim private, personal and occasional. Anybody that charges you even for fuel risks being pulled over by the State Dept of Public Safety and the fines for non-compliant registration can begin at $600.00. This is considered Interstate Commerce and there are about 4 agencies wanting your money to be compliant. If GVW of the truck, trailer and equipment is going to be over 26,001 pounds, a CDL, a drug and alcohol consortium membership, DOT Number, MC number, UCR registration and IFTA fuel report for each state traveled in is going to be the responsibility of the person hauling this bargain for you. Not to mention it has probably more than an 8 gallon fuel tank so the carrier will have to be class 9, non bulk, carried, HAZ MAT registered als0. The price is not always the price. I almost left out apportioned vehicle license plates for each state traveled through.
Nothing like getting shut down on the side of the road while you wait for someone that is compliant to come get the load and you send your gov’t assistance money back to the gov’t for being ignorant of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations...... No good deed goes unpunished.SHHH !!!! be quiet !!! they'll hear you!!!
