Construction, traffic, crappy overpriced food/booze and lots and lots of culture or lack thereof.

If anyone does go- eat at trayler park or the hitch.

Best eats down there ( for the cost).

I’m now leaning toward Savannah.

We just got back from Jekyll Island. It was great. Bicycle and walking trails. Lots of beaches. Good fishing. We are definitely going back. There are some nice hotels also. We stayed at the Hampton Inn but there are better places to stay. You might be able to rent a condo in your price range.

Few days.... wouldn't fly anywhere. Highlands NC maybe. Someone mentioned Biltmore. I like Brevard. Graveyard fields and Black Balsam bald are good hikes. Chimney Rock not far and Dupont forest with the waterfalls is nice. Watch Last of the Mohicans movie and You Tube the locations it was filmed . You can visit all of em

Dry falls and bridal veil falls are in Highlands NC. You can walk behind Dry Falls waterfall. It's unique in that way and a very large one. Hike is easy and right off the road.
