I agree, but calling the police to do so, is not very polite in my book.

darn straight, the police have serious issues to deal with that don't involve me in my backyard shooting. police aren't a solution for everything some times just being neighborly works
keep on shooting and next time them dogs bark call the cops
Great advice and works 99% of the time, no need to be a jerk. Glad the cop was cool.
Why didn't you record it and put it on YouTube? Oh, that's right... The many good encounters with LEO don't get much attention. Thanks for posting and there are many ways to support your local PD. I support a few different organizations including some that help families of officers killed in the line of duty.
how di they do that, do you live really close to your neighbor? i used to live in ohio where houses were 10 feet apart and i hated it
It's not hard to find out who called in to 911.
Yea there kitchen window faces my sliding glass door. I hate it to, but I was 21 when I bought this house and it was all I could afford at the time. Cops came over asked if I had guns. I said I did, they asked to see them. I asked why, they said they had a report about the guns. They admitted I had committed no crime and so I declined and they left. Two or three weeks later the neighbor called me about two in the AM to say someone was breaking into there house. I told her to call the cops.
No I am not a Richard I went outside to run them off.
