And I will put it in simplest terms I can. You want private contracts between companies to somehow become de-facto regulations on the public. I'll wait for the legal course to sort it out before I'll start running off at the mouth and calling people thieves. Especially when the legal course so far in Australia, the EU, and many other countries says it is in fact not a violation of copyright law.

Now this is the part where you'll say yet again "I'll let you continue your thread, and you're a thief". :thumb:

Is the content creator being compensated for you to view their content in the United States?

Should a private contract between companies be enforced as a regulation on the public?

Nice redirection. Answer the question. I never said anything about regulations or laws. Simple question. Have they been compensated for their content to be viewed by you in the United States?

"Answer the question" :pound: Ok... You answer the question. Should a private contract between companies be enforced as a regulation on the public?

Or just call me a thief again. Which brings up another question. Is that a violation of the terms of service for using this website???

I disagree with government involvement in private business and regulations on such so to answer your question...No.

Personal attacks are a violation of terms of service, however I don't think calling a thief a thief is anymore a personal attack than calling a man a man. Now, I answered the question you asked me rather than answering my question, now answer my question. Is the content creator being compensated for you to view their content in the United States?

I wasn't aware that private company private contracts were made public so I have no idea what the compensation actually is. Nor do you. A private contract is not my business. The law is.

Are you circumventing their content restriction? It's as simple as that.

If you login with a VPN, it can happen. It doesn't always happen. It depends on the server. I would assume that if you do violate their content restriction, they would in fact end your membership.

Of course they had no problem with vpn use until a couple of years ago. Why do you think that is?

So again, you believe they don't want their content viewed in the United States simply because the don't like Americans. You know what though, even if that is the reason, it doesn't change the fact that someone who has ownership of something doesn't want you to have it and you ware using technology to take it against their will without compensation. Theft.

So why was this never an issue with nflix until a couple of years ago? And why are country's coming out and clarifying that it isn't against the law?
