Maybe but GA is still pretty right leaning. Warnock is up for election in 2022. It's entirely possible that they don't vote for it.

Yes they can.

With essentially a super majority (thanks Romney et al) they can do what Pelosi said she wanted to do, have Americans "Turn them all in!".

That's exactly what they will do, although as written now there is no confiscation per say, but if they will do confiscation by default by making it too expensive to continue owning what you have. (Tax each gun and each magazine) This ban is actually more strict than the last one they passed, it has no end date (unlike the last one) and the firearms it restricts has even some legal California firearms making the list....they have a by make and model list and it is not just AR's....There are actually only 33 Semi automatic rifles on the exempted list....
