IMO--I don't think Notre Dame is strong enough offensively or defensely to beat an SEC team. Granted they have a record showing wins, but still I do not think they have what it takes on either side of the ball. Kansas State and Oregon both had nice records but look what happened. UGA's only loss was to South Carolina who are always tough against anyone under Spurrier and Alabama's only loss was to Texas A&M who showed what they were made of. I honestly do not think Alabama could beat South Carolina playing in Carolina. I also think LSU would give UGA a hell of a fight in any stadium. Any team can have a bad day on either or both sides of the ball. A tough defense being able to quickly adjust and succeed at stopping an agressive or fast paced offense should produce a winner everytime.
Alabama vs UGA will be a "slobberknocker" of a game and I'll be glued to the TV cheering for UGA but in the long run I'm cheering for the SEC. GO DAWGS !!!


p.s. to say Oregon would beat the hell out of UGA is hilarious,,,
