You can buy one now, pay $200 extra for tax and get it in eleven - twenty-seven days (according to some, mine usually take 4-6 months). Or.....or..... you can wait until Jan of next year, not pay $200 extra and probably get approval to pick it up from jail in Aug or Sept of 2029.

I didn't realize that a permit was a requirement to purchase a handgun in GA
