this is a very common cause..mixing glycol bases and permanent anti freeze best to flush and set until dry then go with the orange stuff..but the coolant switch is the first to go then the water pump..coolant temp switch is what brings the fan on...take a temp gun and go to the outlet top hose and let idol and watch as the temp rises pay attention to the fans the temp that the fan turns on is around 200/210/212 any higher the switch isn't working...turn the a/c on to see if secondary fan kicks in..if yes..switch..have the fan tested too!that wrong color is exactly what happened to my buddy. It makes a nasty concoction when you mix the two
