I have two NFA items, I go on active duty this coming May, the question is, what do I do with the NFA items? Can they be on a military base where such items may be prohibited, ex, California, but residing on the base. And what about the Trust?

True, but you've got time. Sunday is for beer, and relaxing. Not worrying about a deployment that you have time to prep for.
Please post what you find out this could be very helpful to the large military population here in the state.
did you identify another trustee in your trust? worst case leave it w/ that person. if you didn't ID another trustee, get an attorney to help you make a legitimate change to the existing trust. if you did a Quicken trust or some other fill-in-the-blank type of trust, you're about to learn a lesson as to why you should always have an attorney set up the NFA trust.
Wife's in the trust, but she'll be with me.
Quicken won't let you do it without a trustee, my best friend is mine.
I would call atf. I have a friend at campbell with a trust but he live off base. If you live of bae just follow local laws and you shoul be good. Also i woild live of base as registering your guns in base is a hastle. Just my 2 cents tho
