NFA and Going to Active Duty?

Since you have a trust, I would say add someone you trust 100% (father, brother, etc) to the trust as a trustee and have them hold the stuff while you are "behind enemy lines" (california). Good luck and thanks for your service.
Yeah, I think this is the best option, and to others, the only trustee in my trust other than me, is my wife.. who will be with me.

And as far as living on/off post, I'll be a married 2LT so most likely off base.
You should be able to get a safe deposit box large enough for those. I would go that route. Only place I can think of that someone would break in, and NOT be thinking about stealing the gun.
 
Banks will not allow anyone to store a firearm in a safety deposit box. Unless you don't tell them what is in it. You would be well advised to ask the ATF what to do with them.
