This question in the FAQ was removed a day later after it was being mentioned in every NFA videos on YT. ATF said it was a mistake listed in the FAQ.

ATF admitted that was a typo.

The current rules haven't changed, and they even admitted that it was an error on their part.

If you die then it can be transferred to legal next of kin tax-free through the existing NFA mechanisms. No changes there either.
