Night Vision Scopes.....

If you're going to keep your distance under 200 yards, and you add an IR instead of using the onboard IR, some are decent. I had an older Gen 2 finally kick it so I just bought a Sightmark Photon XT 4.6x digital NV http://www.opticsplanet.com/sightmark-photon-xt-4-6x42s-digital-nvriflescope.html. It's 10% off at Optics Planet right now and combined with T20 IR (http://www.amazon.com/Evolva-Future-Technology-Flashlight-Invisible/dp/B00U77KP56), you're in for $500. I'm using it to hunt yotes and hogs at night.

For general NV the Armasight Vampire 3x http://www.opticsplanet.com/armasig...sion-rifle-scope-3x-core-iit-60-70-lp-mm.html gets good reviews, and people are saying it's realistically a Gen 1.5+.

If you want to go a little over $1k, the Pulsar Digisight N550A or 750A get good reviews.

On the lower end of the cost scale, I think the digital NVs tend to work a little better than the Gen 1 NV scopes.
